Got a Cold – Try This Cold Fighting Latte Recipe

INTRODUCTION

Cold got ya down? Well, this recipe is a tasty way to feel better when a cold’s got you feeling like you’ve been run over by a truck — more than once!

COLD-FIGHTING INGREDIENTS

  • Ginger — There’s evidence that immune-supporting ginger may help prevent colds, soothe a sore throat, clear congestion, and calm inflammation.
  • Turmeric — this natural inflammation fighter and powerful antioxidant gives a knock-out punch to oxidative compounds by neutralizing free radicals and boosting the body’s antioxidant capacity. This is a fancy way of saying it’ll help fight that cold.
  • Medicinal mushrooms — Maitake, shiitake, reishi, and cordyceps mushrooms have been shown to be potent cold-fighting fungi. And they’re easy to add to your diet.
